Honest Man Publishing began in 2024 when a duo of friends with mutual interests in good storyteling decided to venture together into the media space. This duo banded with a smal gathering of like-minded artists and have now come out with several unique new titles and aspirations for more.
Honest Man Publishing LLC is a name that derives from the story of Diogenes, the Greekphilosopher/contrarian who sought to express himself in ways that many considered absurd, both then and now. While no actual works of his remain today, the title borrows from a classic story of him walkingabout during the day with a lit lamp, claiming that he was searching for an “Honest Man”. You wil findthat our stories often contain absurd characters (or perhaps characters thrust into absurd times), but just like Diogenes himself, we seek to examine these stories and the people in them for something honest; something true.
Honest Man Publishing LLC aims to inspire, create and ultimately disseminate unique intelectual properties that tel timeless, unyielding stories in a media space fraught with distractions rather thanintrigue. Honest Man Publishing values uncompromising stories. We want to say something new/true, using whatever media is available to us, and unconcerned with the whims of modernity.
Honest Man Publishing is a freshman venture in owning/operation, but we ultimately hope tolearn together with our readership and any future colaborators, and to grow our ability to publish, print and distribute quality content. Honest Man Publishing LLC consists of its two founders: Aaron Figueroa and Joseph Hancock.
These men, along with early colaborators, (insert Jaõa’s real name here), Sid Wolfendon & Ronny Tobar Carreño have laid the foundation for the early works of a fledgling publishing company.
